This coffee belongs to an association of small coffee producers organized in the Jinotega region to jointly sell their coffees and bring them to the international market.
Jinotega is the most important coffee region in Nicaragua. It is where the best Nicaraguan coffees are produced. The main characteristic of this area is its fertile soils. This occurs because Jinotega is located within the Central American Cordillera, a chain of volcanoes in Central America and its soils and all around it are made of volcanic material, suitable soil for the cultivation of coffee that is rich in minerals. The coffee varieties planted are Arabica: Catuai, Marseillaise, Caturra, Bourbon. It is a coffee with an impeccable washing process, very clean and with a very balanced flavor with notes of dark chocolate, orange and honey.
